The International Copper Association Southeast Asia (ICASEA) is a member of the Copper Alliance – a global network with presence in North and South America, Europe, India, China, East and Southeast Asia.
Our mission is to defend and grow copper markets while contributing to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Due to its natural properties, copper is an excellent electric conductor – about 40% more efficient than aluminum. It is therefore a material of choice for manufacturers of electricity-using equipment to minimize losses and meet higher energy performance requirements.
ICASEA supports market transformation programs in favor of higher efficiency electric motors, distribution transformers, air conditioners and other electric equipment and appliances.
ICASEA is also an active supporter of small-scale electricity generation systems using renewable energy sources.
