The Chinese government set an ambitious target for Greenhouse gas emission control. They did this while also facing a series of problems which include: incentive policy implementation and sustainability, standards, cooperation platform, low awareness on pay-back and practical business model and so on. ICA has been working with the central and local governments on technical know-how and knowledge sharing garnered from European countries. It also uses pilot projects geared toward best practice development and sharing, standards making in specific industries for clean energy solutions and applications including small renewable energy (wind, bio) solutions. Other key areas are solar PV, solar heating and heat pump technology and applications.
